NDVRW Libraries

Be one of hundreds of libraries supporting voter registration services for disability communities, and help educate the public about issues like ballot access, accessible ballots, and accessible polling places.

EveryLibrary is partnering with the American Association for People with Disabilities (AAPD) to highlight and promote National Disability Voter Registration Week (NDVRW) in libraries across the country this year. Add your library to the list of participating organizations this July 17 - 21, 2017 and plan to support voter registration for disability populations in your community. Libraries in nearly all 50 states are participating in 2017. They will be sharing information about NDVRW, promoting registrar services with local organizations, partnering with non-partisan voter registration groups for on-site registration drives at the library, and even training staff to be Registrars to support NDVW and voter registrations as as core service. NDVRW 2017 is also about sharing information around ballot access and the need for accessible ballots and polling places around your community.
