Spring Open House

We are inviting you to join us at our coworking space at BrooklynWorks at 159 on April 11th from 730 pm until 930 pm for an evening of drinks, food, games, and library advocacy!

Official Event

We'd love to meet you in person!

Since our founding, EveryLibrary has been dedicated to serving libraries and ensuring their capacity to serve their community is as unhindered as possible. It is with this focus that we have been able to return $160,000 in stable yearly funding to libraries for every $100 that we raise. In fact, we've helped ensure over 1.7 billion dollars in funding in small towns and big cities across the United States. Our primary work is to support local public libraries when they have a referendum or measure on the ballot. We provide campaign training for library staff, trustees, and volunteers on how to plan and execute their Get Out the Vote initiative. Our focus on activating voters by meeting them where they are is what sets us apart in the library advocacy ecosystem. You can read more about our successes in our 2018 Annual Report.

The EveryLibrary Institute is our research and support 501c3 organization. We're excited about the recent launch of this non-profit that will help conduct much needed research and provide training to librarians to better advocate for their organizations. We're launching some very exciting projects in 2019 to support libraries through this branch of our dual organizations. At this event, we'll talk about all of the upcoming projects for the 501c3 and ways that you and your organization can get involved in supporting one of America's greatest institutions, the library.

But we can't do it without people like you. That's why we are inviting you to join us at our Spring Open House to find out more about how you can get involved and join the campaign for American libraries. Plus, we'll have drinks, light snacks, and door prizes for our guests!

Suggested Donation: $10, $25, $50, $100, or more payable at the door or make a donation here.
Or, just come and learn more about how to get involved in the campaign for American libraries!

Libraries play an integral role in the communities they serve. Often, libraries are pigeonholed as ‘that book place where you need to be quiet’ and regarded as disposable in the age of the internet. This could not be further from the truth.

On top of their invaluable research knowledge, libraries and librarians have offered school children school lunches during a strike, offered entrepreneurial classes for aspiring entrepreneurs, and provided safe spaces for vulnerable youth across their state. Without local funding, libraries are often forced to drastically cut back on services like these and in some cases only open their doors for a handful of hours each week.

We would love to have you join us for this exciting night of food, drinks, and library advocacy.

If you cannot attend but would like to help support libraries across the nation, you can donate here
