Lit on the Links
Join us for a fun afternoon on the Golf Course to Raise money for the ALA Scholarship Fund. #alaac17
Join us before ALA Annual Conference in Chicago for a fun round of golf on Thursday, June 22 to raise money to benefit the ALA Spectrum Scholarship fund. We will be playing a "best ball scramble" at the Harborside International Golf Center on their Starboard Course. Harborside is less than 30 minutes south of McCormick Place and is located near the historic Pullman neighborhood of Chicago. Rated among the "Best Courses You Can Play in Illinois" by Golfweek, we hope you can hit the links with us and help raise some funds for Spectrum Scholars.
We’ll organize at the course at 11:30 a.m. and we’ll have a 1 p.m. tee off. This event will feature a box lunch, cocktails, and prizes. If you’ve never played a game of best ball scramble it’s a great way to get on a course and have fun.
Feel free to invite friends, family, co-workers, or vendor reps!
If you’d like to volunteer to “host” a hole (individual or corporate), monitor a putting contest, check-in guests, etc., please contact Monique at the email address below.
Registration Includes:
• Complimentary warm-up practice golf balls on the 57 acre practice facility
• Complimentary use of locker room and shower facilities
• Greens fee and GPS-equipped cart for 18 holes
• Box lunch provided and reception afterward
• Lots of fun on the course!
All money raised will benefit the ALA Spectrum Scholarship fund.
EveryLibrary is proud to support this event.
Please note that this is NOT an official ALA Conference or ULC event.
