Over $2.5 million in aid to public libraries is missing from the proposed budget.

It is vitally important to small and rural libraries across the Commonwealth that Direct Aid is included in the Senate version. Without this support for operations, collections, and services, several libraries will face drastic cuts and the possibility of closing in some counties. This should not be allowed to happen.
