As a volunteer, you'll work closely with our Digital Director to produce creative assets that align with our mission, help us engage our audience, and strengthen our visual identity.
Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design and Content Creation
Design graphics for various channels, including social media, newsletters, websites, and print materials.
Develop infographics, posters, and other visuals that help communicate key messages effectively.
Brand Consistency
Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive and professional look across all materials.
Collaborate with the team to refine and evolve visual elements of the brand as needed.
Project Collaboration
Work with the content, marketing, and events teams to understand design needs and provide creative solutions.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas for visual storytelling.
Adaptation and Optimization
Adapt designs for various platforms, ensuring visuals are optimized for web, mobile, and print.
Make revisions based on feedback and finalize designs to meet project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar tools.
Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
Excellent eye for detail, color, and typography.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in creating graphics for social media and web.
Understanding of branding and visual identity principles.
Prior experience in a volunteer or non-profit setting is a plus, though not required.
