If you're committed and passionate about libraries in the United States and understand how crucial they are in helping Americans succeed, you can join us as a volunteer or an intern to help build the political and social support we need to protect them.
EveryLibrary (501c4) and the EveryLibrary Institute (501c3) support library-specific research, public education, support to campaigns and elections, as well as local, federal, and state issues related to libraries and information access.
You should be interested in and passionate about literacy, reading, information access, First Amendment rights, and libraries. You should also be passionate about learning how to create political movements online and offline. Depending on the project, you may work with the EveryLibrary Institute or EveryLibrary.
Many of these projects are for individuals who love and support libraries, but we don’t expect you to have experience in politics or librarianship! We’ll teach you everything you need to be successful, and you’ll have room for creativity and to explore areas that interest you.
This is an opportunity to take action for a cause you care about or get hands-on experience in a field you're passionate about, and we want you to enjoy it and put your passions to work to support libraries across the United States.
