Over the past two months, Congress has delivered bipartisan agreements on the FY2026 full-year budget for some of the nation’s cultural and knowledge institutions, including the Library of Congress, NEA, and NEH. They still must now pass a stable budget for the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the National Archives - and the window for that to happen closes on January 30.
