SEND AN EMAIL: Save Libraries. Stop Project 2025

We made it easy to send an email to your legislators to support libraries by putting a stop to Project 2025.

We oppose the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 framework because it would undermine important aspects of public libraries' building communities, schools' supporting students and families, and higher education's supporting the next generation of scholars.

Libraries are mentioned multiple times throughout Project 2025. On page five, they call for arresting and registering librarians as sex offenders.

This is not an empty threat.

Dozens of states have enacted or attempted to enact legislation to arrest librarians.

In an extreme departure from decades of established law, the Project casts mainstream literature as "pornography", and then calls for the imprisonment of the creators of "pornography. This would result in the criminalization of authors, as well as librarians and teachers as creators and distributors, respectively.

We have seen this rhetoric before. We must stand up to this tyranny.

We need people like you to send an email to your legislators asking them to stand up for your right to read and put a stop to Project 2025's agenda!
