Librarians Won the Emmys!

In case you missed it, librarians won on one of America's biggest stages.

A documentary about librarians standing up against book bans and defending the freedom to read was honored at the Emmys.

The Librarians is a powerful documentary directed by Kim A. Snyder that follows school and public librarians across the country who find themselves on the front lines of the fight against book bans. The film documents librarians facing harassment, threats, job loss, and efforts to criminalize their work simply for defending access to books and the freedom to read.

It's wonderful to see the work of librarians recognized in this documentary and by the Emmys.

But an Emmy doesn't stop a book ban.

That's where we come in.
