EveryLibrary partnered with Tik Tok influencers during National Library Week to gather support for the fight against book bans in the United States.
We are grateful to the influencers who generously agreed to participate in the TikTok Influencer campaign in response to the movement to ban books in our nation's public and school libraries. They participated by posting a video during National Library Week (April 23rd-29th) with the hashtag #bannedbooktok with a petition at bannedbooktok.org.
This campaign was designed to educate Americans about the growing movement to ban books, encourage direct action to fight against book bans through this petition and find people who can build a counter-movement against book bans on the Fightforthefirst.org platform.
