Virtual Resources and Support

Many school librarians have been working to provide virtual resources and support to students and teachers, such as online databases, e-books, and research guides. These are especially important as many students have been learning remotely due to the pandemic.

Supporting Remote Learning

School librarians have been working to support remote learning by providing students and teachers with the tools and resources they need to be successful in a remote learning environment. Working with teachers to develop and implement an online curriculum and providing students access to online resources and materials.

Digital Literacy

As the use of technology has increased during the pandemic, school librarians have been working to promote digital literacy among students and teachers. They are providing instruction on how to use online resources and tools and teaching students how to evaluate the credibility of online information.

Staying in Touch

School librarians have been working to keep in touch with students, even when they're learning remotely. They have used virtual platforms and social media to connect with students and promote reading, learning, and other activities.

School librarians have been working hard to adapt to the pandemic. Still, they are also facing many challenges and obstacles, such as a lack of technology and resources and burnout due to the constant change and adaptation required.
