These cuts would force the library to reduce operating hours, eliminate staffing positions, and cut staff hours - drastically limiting community access to library resources. The revised budget will be presented by the City Manager to the Council on Monday, March 30. At that time, the City Council will determine the city’s final contribution to the Auburn Public Library for the FY 2027 budget, a decision that will directly shape the level of service the library can provide to the community.
